PJM has entered into agreements with stakeholders to ensure the reliability of the power grid. Agreements are with members, independent system operators, regional transmission agencies, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and North American Electric Reliability Corporation. PJM.com is currently undergoing system maintenance. The tariff is the global document that governs PJM`s operations. It contains the provisions relating to the transport service within the PJM region. The tariff and revisions to the tariff and other relevant documents are subject to approval by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, the AUTHORITY, the PJM and other regional network organizations. The insurance security agreement signed by all PJM organizations that sell electricity to end customers sets out obligations and standards for maintaining reliable operation of the power grid. It contains provisions on ensuring adequate capacity, providing assistance in the event of an emergency and planning for the future needs of the system. Changes accepted or pending by FERC are available on the Effective Documents page. The company agreement must be signed by all organizations wishing to become members of PJM. It contains provisions that define the functioning of PJM as a regional transmission body. It defines the roles and responsibilities of the PJM Bureau, the Members Committee and the Interconnection Office (PJM management and staff).
